DIY Decorations

We were extremely economical when it came to our decorations. We had looked at so many options; balloons, renting centre pieces, candelabras etc. On a random trip to IKEA we found tall clear vases that we thought were stunning. We filled them with coloured sand and dried flowers. Our decorator arranged the vases prior to the wedding and added some silky fabric for that extra touch. My dress had a huge ruby red bow on it and I wanted the decorations to have an element of that, so we rolled up the wedding programs into scrolls and tied them with a ruby red ribbon!
