Decoration is a very important aspect that
adds ambience and atmosphere to any wedding. Choose your decorations
and decorator wisely, ask them about what you will be getting, don't be
embarrassed to question even minute details, after all it's your
wedding and you want to know ensure that everything is covered.
The
most beautiful decorations don't necessarily have to be the most
expensive. All it takes is a creative decorator and an idea from the
couple, and with the right professionals, merging these two can be
beautifully explosive and save you lots of money. A good decorator
should have a plethora of money saving tips and ideas and is able
produce something beautiful even on the smallest budget.
If you are doing the decorating yourself, try being creative A simple flat glass bowl and a beautiful floating flower of your choice, with or without candles can be very eye catching and extremely easy to do. But, there are many other things such as candles, balloons, and table and chair decorations that can be incorporated into the day's decorations which are cheap and easy to pull together but can still give the WOW factor.
We were extremely economical when it came to our decorations. We had looked at so many options; balloons, renting centre pieces, candelabras etc. On a random trip to IKEA we found tall clear vases that we thought were stunning. We filled them with coloured sand and dried flowers. Our decorator arranged the vases prior to the wedding and added some silky fabric for that extra touch. My dress had a huge ruby red bow on it and I wanted the decorations to have an element of that, so we rolled up the wedding programs into scrolls and tied them with a ruby red ribbon!
